Jane attended the Wegman’s School of Nursing at St. John Fisher College, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she moved from Upstate NY to North Carolina and began working as a registered nurse in pediatric sedation at Duke University Hospital.
She then attended Duke University and graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing, and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, focused in primary care. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Her clinical interests include community health and immigrant populations, prevention and treatment of childhood obesity, teenage contraception education, and early childhood growth and development.
She enjoys developing a close bond with her patients and their families, building trust and continuity of care, allowing for better clinical outcomes.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and animals and has a passion for cooking and baking.
