Effective July 1, 2022 we will no longer be accepting the following
Medicaid Managed Care Health Plans:
- AmeriHealth Caritas of North Carolina
- Carolina Complete Health
***If you wish to keep either of these plans, you will need to transfer your child’s care to a provider who is in network***
To continue seeing our providers you must do the following PRIOR to June 30, 2022:
- Select a new plan for your child (we have provided the plans we accept on the back)
- Call the number for the plan you have chosen to switch to
- Inform the representative that your provider is no longer accepting your current plan and you want to change to their plan
- Make sure to give them our practice name so we are listed as the child’s Primary Care Physician (PCP)
Please keep the following in mind when selecting your new plan if your child sees a specialist:
Duke Hospital and Specialists currently accepts ALL Medicaid plans
UNC/Rex Hospital and Specialists currently accepts ALL Medicaid plans
WakeMed Hospital and Specialists currently accepts all Medicaid plans EXCEPT Healthy Blue and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan
